AN EPIC START

Can you read a tape measure?

This image shows a vintage metal tape measure with a yellow tape extended, featuring a rusted clip and a worn appearance, indicating frequent use.

“YES, I CAN.”

Who knew that the ability to use this tool would be the birth of Epic Ceramic + Stone.

I was 16 years old and my family didn’t have a lot of money. I wanted cool clothes, a truck and everything else a typical 16 year old wanted. So I got a job…
doing stucco.

It was my second day on the job and the tile guy approached me. His helper could not read a tape measure, so he asked me if I could. I said yes and the rest is history.

EAGER TO LEARN

I quickly realized stone and tile was a passion of mine. It fueled my creativity. I spent the next year asking questions and learning everything I could.

In 1990, Epic was born.

Over the last three decades, Epic has been slowly and steadily built on a foundation of three core values: Family, Passion and Excellence.
